2016 Jan 02, ~07:01.  En route Mumbai - Vadodara.  Flight 6E567.

Photography from an aircraft is not nice.  The principal culprit is the window, which does not provide a crystal-clear view.  This window was reasonably clear, and I could hardly make out the window-effect on the photograph.

This will be followed up by at least one sunset photograph.

A dog's-eye view of the street in front of my (then) home.  The camera was about 20 cm from the road surface.  This is a 15s exposure.

This is another monochrome, from a flat part of Lisbon.  Not very far from the Pombal Circle.

I like this for its pseudo-3D effect.

Lisbon is partly hilly, and here is a photo from one hill, across a valley, of the hill across.
I used significant optical zoom, as is evident from the reduction in the dept of focus.

Monochrome landscapes and cityscapes have fascinated me - particularly after I entered the digital-and-colour-by-default era.

Confession: the original shot is in colour.  I have filtered out the colour using GPhotos.

This was my view often - when I returned home after a late evening session in my office or in a lab.
